1-3 Install the Capture Card

This section describes the installation procedures based on Asus P5L-MX motherboard (w/

Intel 945G chipset) as an example.

Please install SV2000 capture card as the photo (Fig 3-1) below:

1. Insert Capture Card into PCI slot.

2. Plug the Reset cable. Connect one terminal of Reset cable to the Reset output (2-pin)

connector on capture card and connect the other terminal of Reset cable (2-pin) to the

Reset connector on Motherboard to provide Watchdog function. (To enable watchdog

function, you also need to activate watchdog in System Setting in DVR software. Please

refer the user Manual)
