2-6-1 Network Setup for Remote Operation

To provide remote operation for IE Client and CMS, please follow the below to set up

Network setting

2-6-1-1 Step 1:

Change the status of “ Network Setup” from “Disabled” to “Dynamic IP” or “Static IP”

according to the network environment your DVR exists. If you use “Static IP”, please enter

DVR IP, NetMask and Gateway address directly. If you use “Dynamic IP”, DHCP server

will automatically assign one set of IP address to DVR after finishing and existing the

network setup.

2-6-1-2 Step 2:

Change “Remote Monitor” option menu to "MPEG-4" in the group of “Remote Control”.

You can adjust frame rate for remote monitor.

2-6-1-3 Step 3: Click “ Exit” Button.

Wait some minutes to let DVR have enough time to grab IP address from DHCP server if

you select Dynamic IP.

2-6-1-4 Step 4:

Log into System Setup again and change to network setup page. Click “ Connect” button,

DVR IP address will appear under the status of “Network Setup”.

If you want to use remote function, please remember DVR IP address and go to “Chapter 2-7

Remote Operation” to start remote monitor, remote playback and remote control.
