2.6 Installing additional power supply unit
ASUS RS700-E6 comes with one 770W power supply unit. You can install an
additional power supply unit to form a 1+1 redundant power supply module for
eliminating system and application downtime by redundancy power backup.
3. If you need to replace a failed
power supply unit, hold the PSU
lever and press the PSU latch.
Firmly pull the failed PSU out of the
server chassis.

To install the second power supply unit
1. Locate the power supply unit on the
rear panel. Press the latch on the
dummy power supply module and
pull it out of the server chassis.

2. Firmly push the second power
supply unit into the chassis until the
latch locks to the server chassis.
